Swim Bursaries

With numbers increasing of children attending our events not being able to swim, we award 5 swim bursaries per event location.

Schools are asked to nominate a pupil who would benefit from a free 10-week block of swimming lessons either teaching them to swim or build water confidence.

Once selected, we speak directly to parents and guardians of those pupils to find out their nearest venue and arrange the block of lessons.

The children selected are also issued with a swim kit (including swimwear, hat, goggles and a towel) to try and reduce any further barriers to participation.
