The Bronte Tykes Junior Cycling Club is the dedicated junior section for the Bronte Wheelers Cycling Club.
They run dedicated cycle sport coaching sessions with around 30 riders taking part every Saturday and Monday. The riders are aged 5 to 16. All you need is a bike, a helmet and lots of enthusiasm and energy!
They have a number of qualified, knowledgably, trained and enthusiastic coaches that aim to help all riders at the club and endeavour to plug young riders into the world of cycle sport.
Alongside the coaches sit our team of Welfare & Safeguarding officers, who will give parents piece of mind that your little cycling ‘Tykes’ will be having fun in a safe environment while progressing through the sport.
And there’s more…. They run regular entry level races through the Go-Ride Racing programme. If you have never put a number on your back this is the race for you! Fun, short, snappy racing that will allow you or your ‘Tykes’ to dip their toe in the water of competitive bike racing. These races are our feeder races into region competition. They currently have riders competing in regional open races so there is something for every level of cyclist.
They look forward to welcoming you to the club… come on you Tykes!
