Pickering Running Club is a friendly vibrant group of 70+ runners from across the Ryedale area of North Yorkshire in the UK. It is a twin-based club with a club house in Malton as well as in Pickering.
Anyone looking for a sociable environment in which to improve their running, or even get into the local fell and road racing scene, is welcome to join the training runs, or to get in touch for more information.
Over the summer months, the emphasis is on enjoying the local Yorkshire countryside. Over the winter, runs are held in Pickering and Malton but varied by the use of speed and hill work.
Training runs are structured to ensure that all runners enjoy the session with slower runners being encouraged and quicker runners being pushed to achieve their potential.
The safety of members is paramount with high visibility clothing being worn when required and all members being accounted for at the completion of a training session.
