Bentham Beagles Running Club is a small, friendly club for runners of all abilities based in Bentham, North Yorkshire.
They formed on 4th October 2011 and have around 50 adult members and 15 juniors.
They welcome all runners interested in joining the club. Whether you are a complete novice or an experienced runner that is looking to run with a group on a regular basis feel free to get in touch or join them on a club night.
If you are interested but haven’t run before they can also provide a walk 2 run programme to get you started. Although they are a small club several of their volunteers have UK athletics coaching qualifications.
In addition to organised club nights they host an annual 10k race. Members regularly meet up at weekends to run together.
They also have a couple of social events a year timed around the Annual General Meeting in April and our Championship Presentation Evening in December.
They usually run in 3 groups with a selection of distances and paces to suit.
A regular night will have 3, 5 and 7 mile options. Over the winter headtorches and refective bibs are a must. They also try to do a fartlek or interval session once a month for those that want to try something different.
